PILLAR-2: Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma After Complete Remission With R-CHOP
PILLAR-2 (PIvotaLLymphoma triAls of RAD001) is a phase III, double-blind study of adjuvant everolimus therapy in poor-risk patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma who have achieved complete response to first-line R-chemotherapy.
Patients are randomized on a 1:1 ratio to receive continuous therapy with either everolimus (RAD001) 10 mg/day orally or placebo. This trial is enrolling approximately 915 patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, at more than 220 sites worldwide. Poor risk is defined as an International Prognostic Index score of 3 to 5.
